Hi there, I’m Rose and I have worked with computers since I was 15. At that time desktop computers were innovative by using cassette tapes and these were considered “state of the art”!!  Most of my working life has been in office environments working with computers and accounts, but a few years ago, I was looking for something to do with my time that may do some good for others. I happened on the City Mission, and I started out packing coffee, milk powder etc., and getting to know others that enjoyed helping out in our community. Since then, I have been blessed to find great friendships and connections to people from all walks of life.

One of my favourite quotes is from Ephesians 4:32: Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

It is a good reminder for me, and did I say how much I love my working environment – real people helping real people.
